I see college showcases, ODM's and RTA's. All of these things point to get the attention of college recruiters. Are there showcases or tournaments that Team USA would be looking at for recruiting purposes?

I would guess something like P5 league tournaments. WCWS might be a place to play for that exposure. Also college D1 All American lists might be a place to be to get noticed.
Roster spots on Team USA are political appointments. Have little to do with demonstrated skills.
