    Use of Icy Hot when pitching

    I agree that she pitched too much and needs to rest her arm. Just was wondering if using the Icy Hot while trying to use those muscles could have also contributed to her feeling like she had no control of her arm. The article seems to indicate that it could be.

    First baseman's mitt or not

    softball helmet

    My daughter likes her rip it and we also had a problem with the insides, but she stuffs her batting gloves and facemask inside when its in her bag. A little (maybe a little to much) Gorilla glue fixed the problem.

    What bats do you like?

    DD loves her Easton Stealth Speed SSR3B. I think its a 2010. She was able to find a new one on ebay to replace her current one when it breaks.. I believe I saw some of Alabama's girls using this bat.. My daughter has tried a new version of the Stealth Speed but did not like it as well.

    DD hit in the face.

    Sorry about you daughter and I know how you felt. My daughter was hit around her right eye area last year in a varsity game... She was wearing a Schutt mask and came away with only a headache, so I know it works... Schutt is much like the Rip-it (metal)

    Anyone wear Boombah Cleats

    My daughter (16) had a pair of Boombah Restistance Metal cleats (mens) last year and she liked them. She pitches and I added tuff-toe but sometimes she drags with the side of her foot and thats where they wore out. (but she did get one year out of them) The price was 1/2 of what Ringor cleats...

    No she doesn't need to keep the no stride, I don't think she was ever told not to stride. I think she starts with too wide a stance also...?
