I don't necessarily agree with the talk of slow hands. To hit the ball with the most force possible the barrel must pivot around the hands. Both of you are suggesting engaging the back to resist the turn. My question is are there any drills or ideas that you have found to be helpful with conveying this change? If someone else has already done some trial and error it can't hurt for me to ask for that. Thanks.- Harry_Tage

Thanks so much for the feedback thus far. I agree the lower half is not there at all. But like I said, a work in progress. The bend at the waist 'leveling' that was mentioned used to be really bad. End of Season Coaching Complaints
Parents that pull their kid to the side and barrate them behind the dugout etc and then expect them to go out and perform to the best of their ability. I'm sensing a lot of complaints about parents. I've always said coqxhing youth sports is great until you have to deal with the parents.- Harry_Tage
