Bad habbit when catching a line drive.
I had this problem. I coach a 16 u team. What work for me to different times was a ball from another sport. Will sound crazy but i fired tennis ball slowly at first , then i speed it up . The object was to get the player to turn it over. I let her do it her way for 25 balls and 11 of those got...- RADZ69RACH

Go ahead..say "I told you so"
well as coach for a 16u team . i have 3 pitchers. i have one travel ball pitcher , 2 rec pitchers.. and i never place one against the other . i have to say i have the best sports parents you could ask for. 9 wins / 5 loses . but i give all my pitchers the same time. i will say this if you look...- RADZ69RACH

Leftie positions?
i want say it will help . but both my lefties are outfeild..we are 16u . and both play left and center and have had one throw out runnersgoing home 3 different times ...- RADZ69RACH

Is holding players from scoring bad ?
Well we are in a tournament . And played our last game that day . We came out ready to play. By the 2nd inning we were leading 11 to 0. There was no run rule till the 3rd inning. So i was holding my girls . Could tell parents were wondering what i was doing. The opposing coach told me thanks...- RADZ69RACH

ok again thanks for the replys... in the begin of the year i ask the girls if someone does something wrong , the team does something wrong . i asked them what they want to do to let them know that something is wrong . told them can be anything . push-up , jumping jack , whatever .. but i let...- RADZ69RACH

wow thanks for the replys...the boyfreind thing whole another story ...i just informed him to not come with her to pratice..i have several girls that have bf at games which not problem..just have talked to her and doesnt bother her ..her attiude i payed money i can do this how i want...and as...- RADZ69RACH

she is 15 and they run before game and after anyways . she is the one if conflict is started it is her starting it .. i have 12 players.. 10 have 4 yrs or more playing time , 2 are brand new .. i understand talking but her parent not much help...she has 19 yr old bf who i have had to ask leave...- RADZ69RACH

Player finally pushes coach over the edge
remember : boys have to do good to feel good . girls have to feel good to do good.. i am learning there is crying in softball , how you handle it is what makes the difference. you did what you needed for team ..great job- RADZ69RACH
