What is wrong with USSSA in eastern MO

Choosing the right team.
Parents are really an underrated part of a team. My DD's hitting coach shut her team down after 2 years of running it. Her reasoning? Parents were just to hard to deal with, she wanted to teach kids the game not put out fires every week with the drama.- Dtwn92

NPF championship
Really sad and very detrimental to the league. IMO this won't help. The media, owners and commish office let them (the players) down. My thoughts! OF is a Good Position
LOVE that!!! lol My DD started in OF and hasn't been able to move out of the position. She is short, a big hitter and on the slower side (3.0 home to 1st which isn't blazing speed). % of full ride scholarships
This is just about the key to getting money from any school. It is still flattering having a school persue you to play for them reguardless of how much money they throw around. Getting to go somewhere you love and play a sport at a high level while doing so has to be an amazing feeling. Sort of...- Dtwn92

HS Class of 2013 - Now What?
Great thread with some valuable info. My DD attended a camp where there were a few DI's there and many other level's as well. All of them (aside from Alabama) stated they were still looking to fill 2013 slots. This was a few months ago but what I'm getting at is there is always still time.- Dtwn92

Choosing the right team.
We have kind of been in the same boat. I learned alot last year only picking a few teams I thought were a good fit. This year I sat down with my DD and went over tryouts and made a schedule. (Here) Make sure they are willing to answer what you want to know. Alot can be said of how things will go...- Dtwn92

Olympic softball 2020?
The beauty of the Olympic's is you get to see odd sports that you don't normally get to see played at the BEST level. In two weeks they are over for 4 years and best thing about it is, we don't even have to watch. I've also got to see one of the best soccer games in my life, Alex Morgan...- Dtwn92

How many games has your DD played over the last 365 days?
At least 88 official games over this last season and probably 10 scrimmages (full games) that didn't count officially. She missed 6 games due to a concussion. Lots more than I remember.- Dtwn92

Olympic softball 2020?
My thoughts too! The cost of these building and subsequently what happens afterwards are not very favorable to the countries putting out Billions of dollars. Very good ideas and point.- Dtwn92

This sucks, this Olympics seems kind of empty without Softball. Watching Badminton and Trampoline has really filled the loss of softball thou.../sarcasm What I'm going to say probably won't be popular but its my thoughts. Looking for some tips and just how you went about or what your DD's team schedule like? What I'm looking for was an in tournament weekly practice schedule season.
