Need interpretation
Little League rules only say that 9-12 year olds are eligible for Majors and that 12 year olds must be in Majors unless they have a waiver. Anything else is up to the policy of your local league. I believe it is saying that you can't split your 11-12 year olds into one Majors division and your 9-10 year olds into a second Majors division for younger players. Question Regarding Injury
She’s 16 years old. She’s definitely old enough to make the decision to wear a fielding mask on her own if she feels the conditions are unsafe, but she chose not to wear one instead. Sorry your DD was injured but it sounds like it was just bad luck. I wouldn’t blame it on the coach.- starman

BP with no-flight ball
TCB hole balls and Tanner hole balls are great for warm-ups. You can front toss them from any distance without worrying about injury. They don’t fly too far and won’t hurt any spectators If they get hit.- starman
