We were there for both camps. This was our first showcase camp and my DD's comment was.. "Gosh, everything goes so fast!!!"
All and all she enjoyed both camps. Myself, just loved finding parking :)))

Hi all,
We are a U21 team from Nova Scotia looking for tournaments on the following two weekends:
May 25-27 and June 29-July 01.
I have skimmed the tournament announcement section.
Would it be possible to know what is out there and where your teams are playing on those weekends
Thank you...
Hi Ray,
Do you have a link to the raw data you are presenting? I appologize if you presented it in a different post and that I would have overlooked it.
Thanks!
Michel

Hi Goobie,
Rojas et al (2009) showed that Biceps activity can be as high (if not higher) during windmill pitching in comparison to overhand throwing. The timing of the biceps activity suggests that it would be used to counteract the distraction forces at the shoulder and elbow as seen in...

A great marker for maturation state is the girl's menarche. Normally, the peak velocity in height...
Ken,
It is my understanding that the World Cup is played under ISF rules which are different from ASA and NCAA rules for pitching. I might be wrong though.

Hi Goobie,
We actually tried this experiment (pitching speed with a slightly heavier ball, 10% of mass: 20g roughly 7.7 Ounce) in my lab with 2 intermediate level pitchers. Surprisingly, the pitching speed was faster with the slightly heavier ball. We also calculated the centripetal forces but...
One of the drills I use for training location of pitches is playing a game of Tic-Tac-To. Think of the strike zone as a Tic-Tac-To grid and have her vary the location of her pitches so she fills out the lines.

Hi Marc,
I am actually extremely interested by the subject of knee savers and catching in softball. I did a literature search and I haven't found an article on the biomechanical changes (or knee injury rate changes) with knee savers. However, that only means I haven't found the black sheep in...
Hi Hitter,
Steve Anderson contributes often to the boards on heybucket. In one of his threads he actually explained the mechanical causes of the bats breaking at lower temperature. It was a very good post. The main point of the post was that based on material properties it is not necessarily...
