    Should a 14yr old play 18 Gold?

It seems like this will be happening more with the rule changes in 18G. We have been surprised to see it some already, but now with more roster spots to fill on the 18G teams, do you think the better young varsity players will be given at least some of these spots?

My mistake and very glad to hear he is still with us. I thought I had heard other a few years ago and thought we had lost a legend. We have also had his DVD series for quite a while (since before you could find just about whatever you were looking for on YouTube). We have used his material...

    Pitcher's parents / 43 ft

    Pitcher's parents / 43 ft

How do you split that at a HS level? Do you mean JV at 40' and Varsity at 43'? This is similar to what I was thinking, allowing only the more advanced freshman pitchers needing to make the adjustment. That seems like it would help the difference in age brackets with 14u at 40' and 16u at 43'...

    Pitcher's parents / 43 ft

Great timing with this topic. DD just asked me the about the same thing just yesterday. What we are seeing is the 14u being divided at the HS level. If the girls are pitching from 40' at 14u, but 43' in HS (freshman). after the HS season she will have to go back to 40' if she stays at 14u or...
