Hey Matt, We include 2 springs....1 for beginners and 1 for advanced strength and weight. We have yet to have a pitcher have the heavy duty spring turned in all the way. Florida, Florida State, Auburn and a bunch more top level pitchers on it and still none that can defeat the Gold...
As with any drill that is teaching a new pattern or motion it takes plenty of reps to instill into the muscle memory. But it gives a one for one feel for what needs to happen on the mound in the game.
And because it trains linear drive the whole pitching motion will become more efficient.
GunnerShotGun.......I think you will be missing out if you take one video and base your opinion on my trainer. Nobody can deny that Increasing the force of the stride into a strong bracing of the front leg and this is what the Queen will do. Thanks Brother!
I think it's a little more than a minor part. But it's a major part in creating energy to transfer that causes increased velocity. Now I'm not saying that velocity is everything because control and changing speeds is critical.....but those attributes with elite velocity rules.
BLB.....I've been doing some testing on that exact theory. Momentum vs Drive causes this Pull or stretch. Think about this......without engagement or push from the rubber that "Pull" will never get to elite status that fuels the stretching shortening cycle. It's almost like a leap where if we...
But the Queen got that extra velocity out of her by challenging her to drive to make the "Double Click" and then turning up the spring force to cause her to have to drive harder to accomplish her goal of making the Double-Click. It's all goal oriented instead of a coach's opinion....you can't...
You will be missing out!
Increasing leg drive into the conflicting force of the front brakes and leg will cause the hips to go faster. And as you know pitching is a transformation of linear energy into rotational energy! Historically to get them to create more force of the backside has been a...
Say what you want Coach James but the university of Michigan had a girl topping out at 67 miles an hour and hit 71.5 off one of the queen of the hills. Florida, Florida State, Penn State, Michigan, Wisconsin, Alabama, Auburn, South Carolina all have ordered my trainer.
And if you look at that...
I can give you more info on the QUEEN OF THE HILL.
The queen of the hill is nothing like the power drive that Amanda Scarborough uses.
The most important aspect of creating velocity is transferring energy into a conflicting force which is the front side bracing. The power drive does nothing...
