    This is exactly the dilemma that I'm having. With 2 outs though, if they do get a hit to pull ahead, we'd then have to face another batter and then at that point the other coach can easily stall and the game would be over anyway (we were only in the 4th inning so only the clock was going to end...

    You are correct, the home team gets their last at bat. What I'm saying is, if I kill the rest of the time on the clock while my team is defense and we get the last out then the game would have been over due to time being up.

    I appreciate your opinion and I should mention that this was an all star tournament. I am big on clock management, I feel like it's part of my job as the coach.

    Here was my situation this weekend, we were the visitors, up 1 run with 2 outs, runners on 2nd and 3rd, and about 2 minutes left on the clock (1:20 no new). Would you kill the clock so if you get that last out the game is over? I let it play out and we got the out but there was 10 seconds left...

    This is actually a still from a video. I'll see if I can figure out how to post the video. But to answer your question, of course extension isn't needed to hit a ball. I just feel like it robs her of power...

    As you can see in the picture, she has an issue extending her arms. Any good tee or soft toss drills to help with this?
