    How is her posture ? Does she play tall or low ? I like my corners to feel like they play under and work up, but not glove on the ground..more at the knees, heel forward..

    And I disagree with this , so if I send it back to LS for repair then it's a illegal bat ? What about if you change out the grip, then you changed it. What about if the E cap pops out, can't put it back it ? I know you can alter a bat to get better performance, but that's not what's going on...

    I would say have a aggressive approach from the start , with the always think "hit " first in their head ( even on take counts ). Tee work out front of the plate.. Change her mindset about hitting..attack,attack,attack

    We do this in a progressive fashion Square Open and regular We use as a teaching tools for our hands to drive the barrel. We do load our our top half .. No matter how good mechanics are, if your hands can't get your barrel in the correct spot you I'll never be a elite hitter

    We started these at 10u. Now we are 11u all my girls are 2003 playing 12u I call these in to our defense Best to challenge your players with these things now. I actually watch HS games that don't run plays

    8 year old DD advice

    My question is, does she have off time from the game ? When have you and her did something not related to softball ? Taking a break is a good thing for them, continous practice may be getting her worn out ? Just my thoughts I am sure she would come back with more fire with some time off

    Using a short bat, or choked do tee work with just the front hand only on the bat. Place tee out to front foot and work on lead arm extension at contact with palm down. Back arm will be up against the hitters chest Note: this is done at 30-60% speed, focusing on hand path and contact position

    I will say loading to a important phase in the swing to help generate energy to contact If she was loading before, with success I would not make whole sale changes
