If your DD is having a hard time making the call, perhaps your TB coach can make a call, go over the old offer and make sure it's still good. I do think since she was on the staff that your DD should be able to make this call.

Not trying to steal your thread but my DD is now in a similar situation. DD is a JUCO transfer and part of the reason she picked the school she is transferring to was the coach. Well, two and a half weeks before school starts (this past Wednesday) she gets a call from the coach telling her that she accepted another coaching job and is leaving. That came out of the blue and was not expected as last year was her first year there. Now come the apprehension because of the unknown. DD went through this last year when her freshman year coach was fired. The coach they hired was an absolute turd and worse than the one they fired. It made for a long year. So here we go again.
