Pretty simple. One point of entry and put it on the teams (coaches) to provide a list of the guests that are allowed into the park along with their roster.
I also saw it before the shutdown where it was announced only "x" amount of people will be allowed into the complex above the teams and...
Scenic City is now being held August 5-9th. They threw in several other dates and were still trying to make Scenic City Summer a go on the June dates, even though everyone knew that Chattanooga was not going to allow the use of the fields, they added a $300 per team "online gate fee" to the...
Nope, you only had to start one game and no refund. They made dang sure teams started that one game as well, even if it was at 10:30 pm on fields that were not safe to play on.
Also, the dates have been moved to August and they will give a credit to a future event or a 25% refund.
@CloudofDust Yeah, I would expect $100 minimum in refunds to the parents. If that organization has that many teams, I am wondering why the uniforms are not sponsored by say McDonalds or someone similar, which cut the uniform costs down significantly. It really sounds like that board is not...
I can see some expenses that could have been expended by an organization and I am assuming you are talking about something akin to a recreation league here rather than a travel organization.
Balls - eh, maybe but you didn't use them so you carry them forward to the next season. Still an...
Good to know. Their decision makes even more sense and reading further in the article, they went on to say that they would have intramural sports in the fall to make up for the lack of fall sports. This looks like a business decision on their part that allows them to bring the kids back to...
Riverside really has a different dynamic than most other high schools since they are a male only military boarding school. If they are brining kids back in the fall to live on campus, limiting their exposure to "outsiders" might help them alleviate some of the concerns of parents sending their...
To be fair, there are expenses that the TDs lay out in order to host these tournaments but yeah, there is some serious bank being made as well. It really is not unfair to say that most of the big tournaments are more about the money than anything else. Some of the bigger organizations have...
Some of your answer will land in the area of testing. Texas has much more rural areas than GA, so maybe testing is not as widespread or maybe GA has stopped being as aggressive about testing? Incubation period can range from 7 to 21 days in some studies, so since GA has been open close to the...
@JumboJack - some teams have success in bucking the STP requirements. It is always a gamble but if you wait to enter the tournament until all the "best" STP options are available, you can sometimes appeal to the TD or organizer about increased cost, distance, etc. and they will let you out of...

Update on Panama City Beach. They backed up and are opening their complex to practices now. Tournaments can start back after June 1. So there will not be a Memorial Day tournament there but unless something changes the USFA WS will happen in July.
PGF, TCS, Connect Sports and others have been livestreaming games for awhile and college coaches have been watching them, so the mechanism is there for college coaches to do so while remaining in compliance with the NCAA. The questions becomes the value of the livestreaming as a recruiting tool...
Not a fan of stay to play events but whoever made this list should be ashamed:
1. Should read "so we can pocket more of the tourney fees".
2. Valid but should be included in #1 (same argument unless you do not count umps as cost).
3. Valid - I have seen this work before in a high event area...
That was posted to give you a quick snap shot of the periods on the calendar. Of course the Contact Period is not open June 4 if the NCAA extended the Dead Period for all sports through June 30. However, you do not seem to understand the difference between a "Contact Period" and a "Dead...
