    The issue I took to the school board was why is my kid being subjected to them when her teachers and coaches aren't?     25% is the minimum required to be considered a scholarship athlete. Only those that get at least 25% sign and have to abide by a National Letter Of Intent. I heard this first hand from several D1 coaches during my daughters recruiting process.

    Any advice to prevent blister ?

    Don't laugh...And it probably wont help after she has the blister, but soaking her finger tips in vinegar for 20-30 minutes everyday for a month or so will toughen the skin up and help prevent future occurrences. If you can get her to do it.

    She doesn't like masks never has, I'll ask you where does it stop, full body armor? Its not my choice its hers. Maybe these poor helpless girls should just give up softball altogether, I mean they might get hurt.

    My feeling is if you want to wear a mask, wear one, if you want to force your own kid to wear one do it, but if the highschool forced my kid to wear one, she wouldn't play.
