    Thanks for the reply Amy. Any other pitches she would start to learn at this age. She is a 5'2" 5th grader with fingers as long as most grown ups already.

    How often and when do you use radar guns?

    We have a gun and when we first starting using it my DD seemed to overthrow so i quit using it. This summer we brought it back out because she started to throw a changeup as she is 9. I wanted to see the speed difference between the fastball and change and the gun is obviously great for that...

    Dad/Mom at pitching lesson

    I am always at my DD's pitching coach sessions. I have learned a ton over the past year from our coach and it helps me figure out what she is doing wrong in game situations and also the other pitchers i coach.
