Catcher calling her own game in 12U
I like the catcher calling pitches at just about every level....If the catcher has confidence in her ability to catch the pitch. You don’t want a catcher shying away from the pitchers best pitch because they don’t have confidence in catching it. Common with hard breaking drop balls.- On the bucket

I honestly think it's an insult toward catchers when people say balls in the dirt after crossing the plate should be scored a wild pitch. What role do coaches play in building self confidence
What role does a coaching staff have in building or maintaining self confidence in a player/team? Coaches on my daughter’s team said building confidence was the job of the parents and players and not that of the coach. slow motion to see pitchers' mechanics.
The blur comes from a slow shutter speed and has nothing to do with frames per second (FPS). Video is nothing more than a bunch of still pictures and subject to blurring just like your standard camera. 120 seam 12" ball?
Buy a variety of balls and make her use them at practice- high seam, low seams, leather, synthetic, different brands etc…. It made a huge difference with my DD. She was becoming a ball snob, but now she'll pitch a rock if that's what they give her.- On the bucket

Calling pitches
You really should send the signals through the catcher or at the very least develope a system they both get the signal at the same time. Not sure what level your daughter is pitching. If she is throwing with any kind of speed or has any break at all it has to be very difficult for the catcher...- On the bucket
