How many fingers?
I guess it's also like a change up or off speed pitch. DD has all fingers on the ball with a change up and with something off speed, she's got more area of her fingers actually touching the ball than she does with the fastball....which is just finger tips. DD's pc wants her using two fingers...- Alsmygal

How many fingers?
Just curious to see what everyone else thinks about this. How many fingers should our DD's use when pitching? I've heard some say three and others say two (not including thumb). What do the DFP people think? Does it depend on the age of the pitcher? Will fewer fingers on the ball equal more...- Alsmygal

One...Rough...Season...
My dd was asked to play as an emergency guest player for a team. We live nearly 3 hours away from them, too. I yelled at an umpire...
Just curious.....if time was so close to expiring, why not skip the warm-ups? My dd's team will do this to hopefully get a quick three outs so they could start a new inning before time runs out. Doesn't always work, but they give it a try.- Alsmygal

What do I need to work on in off season?
I'm no expert at all, but one small thing I notice is that she's not on her power line at all. She's off to the right side of it. I can give you some drills that my dd was told to do that really helped her to get to where she was consistently on the power line every time.- Alsmygal

Duties of a bucket dad/mom during tournaments
I carry sunflower seeds to every tournament and my wife brings duct tape......the seeds keep my mouth busy and my wife will put tape over my mouth when necessary. Proof that she's actually used it.....- Alsmygal

LOL.....that's exactly what I was thinking! The Bushnell reads 50-52 on my 12 year old, but I'm convinced it's wrong and she really throws in the mid 60's...... and probably even 70's every once in a while on a good day.....lol ;)- Alsmygal

We have a Bushnell and a Pocket Radar and both are within 1-2 mph of each other on every pitch. The Bushnell is just so much easier to use, so I use it more than the pocket radar. I was just curious as to what kind of readings the high dollar guns do that makes the bushnell guns so unreliable...- Alsmygal

Saw one in Missouri this weekend that was clocked on two different guns. Her speeds were ranging 55-58, but all she had was a fastball. She did attempt a change up once in a while, but the girls said they could see it coming and she couldn't throw it for strikes. She was probably 5'8" and 13...- Alsmygal
