lol, that was my fault. I set the net back because I wanted to see how the ball traveled and she cleared it.
She does have a All backwards, All forward type move going on. You want to have the upper and lower loading opposite directions. Right now the she loads the upper and the lower back horizontally and then takes it all forward horizontally. There are different approaches that people take in getting the body going in the right order/sequence.

Good Luck, I'm sure there will be others that will be able to provide more things to help.

Very popular but helpful video.

Just keep it simple! I know trying to correct or introduce new moves or concepts can be real difficult at age. Trust me my DD is 11 and its been some work. One thing I wish I would have done with my DD is to instill swinging hard. Not that she doesn't just that sometimes we can focus so much on mechanical things that the swing hard kind of diminishes.

One question...I had her see an instructor for a few lessons and they were helping with the load and stride. We were told her load and stride should not change based on pitch (tempo should always be the same), and the only variable is when she starts her load. Earlier or later based on the pitchers speed. Is this correct? what happens when she is early to launch? is she simply holding her position? kinda like the command drill?

or is she expected to control her stride instead?
