Did you see Hudgens Power hitting DVD? That’s where he swings and he explains his mechanics of the swing.

@TDS ,
So I worked in the cage for a while today. What I noticed is that the more my weight shifted forward the more my swing became too steep downward. If I shifted too far too soon it was impossible for me to get my barrel in the right position. As I moved my weight back things improved. If I moved it too far back my swing became more of an uppercut. In order to get the slightly upward swing that I (and Ted) prefer I had to be slightly behind center.
FP26, this is what Tewks did as well.. He was ABAF shifting from the back leg to the lead leg during the swing.. The "down to" path is to steep when utilizing swing is the shift.. Once you learn how to shift into both legs (fyb) leveraged position, the "down to" barrel path is allowed to get on plane due to the posture and using the middle (obliques) to swing. IOWs the middle is getting stretched against the forward move into both legs before swinging..
Shifting into both legs (fyb) before swinging allows for the correct transition utilizing the "down to" barrel path that all the pros speak of.

Please explain "shifting into both legs". It's a phrase I have seen you use a lot, but I have never seen an actual explanation of it.
Theres multiple ways to do it.. We have been through it multiples times.. DrDrodd's daughter just focuses on allowing the legs to be anchors (supporters) while using the middle..
Clemenslee1"s daughter uses something a little different where she tips the upper half against against her forward move (UFA's). This pattern is fairly new to her so the actions are a little bigger to learn the feel.
If you are able to be in a position like Cabrera above when you are on time then you should be able to adjust to a position like Latta (or to a lesser extent, SB's twitter post) demonstrates if you have to..that is how I see it.Yeah, sorry. I just have trouble following your vernacular... Do you agree with what @pattar posted? I see those positions as a bit extreme... Too far forward. Or are you talking more about launch position, POP, etc?
