People don’t have emergency funds because they didn’t create one, has nothing to do with the economy. People spend more than they make thus they live paycheck to paycheck. I know that’s not the case for everyone, some don't earn enough to save but the average family doesn’t save when they could.

Yes, lots of truth to that. People don't save well in America, and buy toys and try to keep up with the Joneses. For sure.

But part of the reason we don't have savings is our economy. Wages just aren't increasing much. That's the economy, as is the fact many people have two jobs just to pay bills and put food on the table. Heck, my last raise was less than the COLA (cost of living adjustment). My raise didn't even keep up with the cost of goods. That is most certainly a factor of the economy.

But we're also not really taking care of Americans financially right now. Kind of a "good luck, hope you make it", "thoughts and prayers" approach.

Schools will be online in the fall. No one is going to go back to class until there is a vaccine. Putting 2000 or 3000 kids together with 200 or so teachers is a recipe for disaster. Most kids would be OK if they get COVID19, but not the teachers.

I seriously doubt that there will be a baseball season or a football season.

... and not the bus drives, cafeteria workers and parents and grandparents that they bring their virus home to. This thing spreads like wildfire. Our shelter at home has been remarkably successful. Like some said, it's been so successful that it's resulted in a portion of America thinking this virus is no big deal.

Wife's Hair Salon can open Friday according to an announcement by Gov. Kemp (GA). Additional businesses will start opening on Monday with strict guidelines. Does that mean the ball parks will be opening soon?

Unreal. Doesn’t even follow the whites house guidelines of 14 days of decline but yet let’s re open businesses and risk more people. And you’re worried about ballparks opening up. Please.
