I just hate it for Clint Myers. I don't know him personally, but he has turned that program around and this is what he's forced to deal with?

Not sure how bad I feel for Clint Myers. He is the one who brought his son in to coach and be the heir apparent. If he didn't recruit these kids, he kept them on when he took over the program.
Four words come to mind when I think about Auburn softball right now - lack of institutional control. The NCAA doesn't like those words at all.
Sidebar: My DD grew up an Auburn fan, and I am a 3rd generation Auburn grad. Our recruiting process with Auburn did not go as we dreamed it would, so all of the controversy that surrounds the program now may be a blessing in disguise that my DD did not sign with them. That's why people hated Spurrier so much. The truth hurt!

We are early in the process so DD is hitting the camps and we have toured a few campuses while making her a large list of schools. Her lifelong dream was to play at AU but after going to camp it changed. I think there is an air of arrogance around the coaches and it seems it may have rubbed off on some of the players.
This makes me sad. All of that hard work down the tubes because of a wrong choice.

Do you think he knew of his son's "issues"? Having witnessed a similar situation, these things can happen on your watch and you not know anything about it...
