Wrist Tendonitis

11 year old DD was just diagnosed with tendonitis in the wrist. Has taken the last week off, and will do so again this week. Was pitching pretty heavily before that. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea on recovery time?

I want to say "Huh?" Wrist tendonitis is a new one to me. For general tendonitis of the elbow, a week is sometimes enough. I need to know more about her pitching and what her pitching coach is teaching. For me, the wrist does very little. It just holds the hand on.

But, has she recently moved to the bigger ball and back to 40 feet? Or is she being taught to do "wrist snaps?"

Do you have any video of her pitching?
