I was just wanted to see if the 'supinate/supiantion was the same or not. I didn't/don't see how that would lead to 'barrel dump'. I'm sorry it cut off the bottom of the swing.

Assuming a good hand path, there is no dumping of the barrel during the 'around' / 'short-to'. The 'around' restricts premature extension / casting, setting up for a throw/flail/cast of the barrel, 'along' the rear forearm, with 'direction'.

Get the hand path correct and there will be no concern of dumping the barrel.

Notice how Pujols passes through an 'upright vee' ...

Thanks rdbass. You were looking for supination, I was looking for ulnar deviation. It is my understanding that supination/pronation are actions that are produced by the forearms, not the wrists.
