Which is better the CF7 or CF8?

Two kids in our club had their CF7s 31" -11 crack within the one year warranty period. Both got CF8 31" -10 replacements (no problems at all with the claims) and they seem to be doing well with them - will see how they hold up over time - too soon to tell at this point on durability. I would note that haven't heard much of anything about LS or Easton bats breaking - but commonly hear of DeMarini bats going dead and then breaking. YMMV.

How do they compare to the Louisville Slugger 2015 Xeno? I see I can get her size for much cheaper.

You can't go wrong with either choice. Both are top performers.

I HIGHLY recommend sending a PM to DFP member CoreSoftball20 for pricing on the bat(s) you're looking for. Good prices, good service, good guy.

Thank you, I can get the 2015 xeno for 199 or 2016 cf8 for 280. Trying to decide if its worth it to save 80 dollars and get the xeno.

Both are great bats. A choice between them usually comes down to personal preference, not a difference in performance.

Something to keep in mind...Demarini bats tend to be very close to sticker weight, or maybe a shade under. The Xeno tends to be an ounce(ish) over sticker.

I have this same dilemma. DD has outgrown her CF6 but the CF8 is giving me sticker shock. I asked if she wanted a Xeno but she was very noncommittal as she likes her Demarini.

Comparing apples to oranges. First of all, comparing different years is always going to be cheaper for the older bat. Second, you are comparing 2 completely different bats.
And you should be able to do much better on the '15 Xeno than what you said...hell, my 16's aren't much higher than that.
