Which bat?

DD10 is currently swinging a Bustos. I started her with that bat as she seemed to have some trouble getting the bat around this spring. Looking good this fall, hitting quite a few line drives into the grass. The Bustos is a -13 drop. What bat would you go to next? A heavier bat that is a bit better made should in theory make the ball go further and be hit harder, correct? Looking online and seeing some deals on the Vendetta (-12) CF5(-10) and CF6(-10) if I looked harder I am sure I could find a -11 if that would be recommended. Any other recommendations? Choosing a bat is very difficult.

I just know DD used a CF6 -10 this year. It swings light and she crushed the ball. She will be using it again next year over her shiny new LTX.

Bat shopping is no fun.

DD age 9 loves her CF6 -11. The Bustos -13 was OK for house ball but the faster pitching and harder balls seemed to just knock it out of her hands some times.

Agree on the vendetta. It's crap. We already made that mistake

Don't overlook the 2014 LXT -10, either. You can find good deals and that bat swings very, very light. It was made down to 30". Crazy pop, too.

Thanks everyone! DD is about 5'3 100 lbs. I think her current bat length is 32, does that sound about right?
