Last night I had just got off the phone with one of my high school pitchers (Sophomore) who had just committed to an out of state D1 school. (full ride, minus out of state fees) She was so happy and thanked me for all I had done for her in helping her see her dream to pitch D1.
As soon as I got off the phone I checked my e-mails and had received one from a parent telling me my services would no longer be needed, they would be trying a new instructor.
It's like your company supervisor calling you into the office and telling you your doing a great job, then on the way back to your cubicle your immediate boss calls you over and say's, "You're fired!".
It made me laugh. Gotta be happy for them though
