IMO... Like most young pitchers, she has stride-dominant, rather than a thrust-dominant, leg-drive. It's much easier to kick the stride foot forward prematurely before the thrust is close to fully spent. Her entire stride leg gets fully extended before she's even half-way through her thrust.

Put more pressure on her to get a quick/explosive thrust as she kicks her stride KNEE forward. In doing this, I believe there should be less of a rush to kick the stride foot forward.

Again, thrust explosively as kicking the stride knee forward. Then, as the thrust is nearing the end of what it can do, kick the stride foot forward past the knee to help extend what the thrust leg can no longer contribute to.
