Some of you may remember, a couple weeks ago, I posted about my daughter being harrassed by at least 1 senior. She was a freshman on varsity. I got the Ath. director involved, and things have gotten a lot better.
This is her 2nd year of playing fastpitch. She started taking hitting lessons back in Oct, twice a week. But she still didn't have the confidence in her hitting.
Everything finally came together last thurs. Playing against our biggest rivals. She was 4-5 with 3 doubles. Now that may not seem that great to some of you. Our fence in center is 240ft. her first time up, she short hopped the fence. And her last time up she hit the top of the fence. Any of the other parks we play in, 3 of her balls would have been out of the park.
It's really great when, as a father, you see things all come together. And the first girl to congratulate her, was the senior that was giving her all the problems.
