There is no harm in visiting other school it will give her a chance to evaluate them against what she has her heart set on.

Assuming the financial aid packages are not radically different and they all offer a sound education and safe environment give her a the latitude to chose after she has seen all the options.

The more schools she looks at, the better the chances of finding the best fit. With D3 schools and no athletic scholarships, YOU are in the drivers seat. No need to decide or apply early decision unless it improves chances of acceptance at more academically competitive schools. No sane D3 coach will turn away a talented walk on, particularly a pitcher!
