I played on the same team with Lane Bender's dad in 1994. He was a really really good pitcher, and a lefty. I'm pretty sure Lane was our bat boy a few weekends. He has really got into coaching in the last several years, I'm not sure if he still plays. But he'd be too young to retire so.. I'm not sure.
