On deck Softball Tryouts??

Hey all- On deck is having a tryout in our area but I really don't know anything about it but what I've read on their website. My question is - would it be worth it? DD already tried out for the USA Elite (she made it last year and had a blast) but this will not help her get any sort of exposure or anything like that. It was just fun.

The on deck claims to be the gateway to more then just a fun experience. More of a tryout for a showcase type of experience with exposure. I think that DD would do well -but we are not made of money and she is 12U so we need to spend wisely.

Personally I would wait until she is in 14U - and probably a 2nd year 14U.

OnDeck is actually good, but when I have been, it seemed really targeted more at recruiting ages.

I agree with Marriard, look into On Deck as a second year 14U and 16U player.
