Good for you and your AC. We spent the season on a TB team where the coach knuckled and it just got worse for everyone until the parent left with a few others and blew up the team.
Had our coach possessed the spine to address this early, it would have likely prevented all but one from leaving.
The kids of psycho mom/dad are in for misery no matter where they play, nothing you can do but be a source of truth and sanity.
