I was out at the park last night, and there was a team 14U softball team playing a game of kickball before practice. They had divided themselves into two teams.
There were no adults supervising the game. The kids were having an absolutely blast. They were screaming and laughing. If there was a dispute about whether someone was "out", they resolved it in about 10 seconds. As far as positions, they rotated.
The lesson for all Daddies, Mommies and major league coach wanna-bes...Don't teach your kids how to play kickball. They might learn they really don't need adults to have fun.
