Leg Guard Straps

Does anyone have any tips for keeping the straps buckled on the leg guards? My DD is 11 and the middle straps seem to come unhooked a lot.

Is it just an elastic strap? If so, go to the fabric store and replace the elastic. If it is more complicated than that, call the manufacturer and ask if they have replacement straps.

Are the hooks attaching from the outside. Try turning them around so the hook faces out when they are attached.

Squeeze the hooks a little with pliers so they lock on more tightly. I have had to do this with the last three sets of gear for my daughters. With a little playing around, you can find the "sweet spot" where it's not too hard to remove but doesn't come off on its own.

She has not had one come undone since we followed your advice! Thank goodness!

Glad it helped. Dont know where I picked that up but I do that with my gear too.
