Anybody add any context to this ? Seemed to come from out of nowhere. A senior two seasons ago... not on the roster last year (assumed she was done).
Yes, that’s one way to look at it. The reason I specifically highlighted her is because I think there might be more to this story than just Covid (I don’t know either way). What I recall though was the longtime AD Barry Alvarez coming out and saying no seniors would be getting an extra year of eligibility from Wisconsin. Kayla was not on the roster last year. Well Barry has now since retired… and Kayla is back in the lineup - just a coincidence? The extra year of covid eligibility has wreaked havoc in college sports.
So now here’s a 24 year old in her 6th year taking a roster spot from a freshman.
Gross. And this is not Kayla’s fault.
She has plenty of time to be a productive member of society (whatever that means)..probably 40+ years.Does she have classes, or does she just play ball? What is her degree in? IMO, she should move along, get a job, become a productive member of society and open up that roster spot for an incoming freshman.
Kids are living at home until 30 now. She is still ahead of the curve. She has plenty of time to be a productive member of society (whatever that means)..probably 40+ years.
