Quincy...agree should not lose count on the field.

I had not lost count...but the umpires "mistake" would have been in my batters favor....Question? Should I have tried to correct the count even if it would not have been in our favor? I see this similar to calling someone safe or out at a base. They could clearly be OUT but called safe...why would I correct that if it's not in our favor?

The UMPIRE should not have lost count...

My player...well that's a skill we're working on as a team to know our count, regardless of the umpire...so we can execute the game without relying on others.

It happens, every and I mean EVERY umpire as well as scorekeeper has lost the count at one time or another. I couldn't tell you how many games Ive done games where the scoreboard has the count wrong.

The question is, is it a continual thing or a rare occasion that it happens.
