Hitting the inside pitch ?

So my kid asked me a question regarding the inside pitch. Does the height of an inside pitch matter where you contact it? Do you hit the high inside the same as low and inside ?

I am not sure of the correct answer ?

In general, the lower the pitch, the deeper (closer to the plate) contact will be made. Likewise the higher the pitch the further out contact will be made.

Place her in her stance, with something that represents home plate as a reference point. Stand in front of her and use a broomstick or something similar to represent the trajectory of different pitches, and let her see where the sweet spot of her bat intersects the stick. That's your contact point.
