^^^ yes^^^The hands stay above and inside the path of the pitch.
This is severely under taught!
All we ever seem to hear is somebody's "uncle Mike" in the stands screaming stupid crap like "level swing, get that back shoulder down, or turn on it" even though the pitcher has thrown nothing but outside curves all game.
I want the elbows to stay separated, arms connected to the torso through the linear phase in to the rotation, with the flashlight picking up the balls location, firm up the front leg pushing back into the hip socket. Then with hand above the ball, a swift, compact barrel throw and a long, high finish.
Or you can cast your hands way out in front of you and weakly wrist snap a pathetic swing....your choice.
