Parking spot lottery - My daughter is at a large school (about 2500 students) and the parking lot is huge. AD gave softball team 6 front row parking spots to raffle off to the students. Tickets cost $1 each and kids get to park close for a third of the year. We will make made about $1K total from this.

Working concessions at a football game - Each sport at our school gets to work one football home game for concessions, run the stand, buy the food, prepare the food, sell the food, keep 100% of the profit. We made $2000 in one night (got homecoming game) but we have typically made $700-$1500 most years.

Ran a youth basketball tournament - Our local youth basketball association allows groups to come in and host tourney's. So you run concessions, sell tickets, work scoreboards and clocks, provide EMT (or pay for one) sweep floors etc.. and you get to keep all the profit. Refs/awards get paid out of entry fees. We made $2500 over two days doing this.

Annual Team Event - We hosted a Pig/Corn roast, charged $5 for under 21, and $15 for over 21 and had beer, pulled pork, roasted corn, and various side items. Idea is that this is your once a year get together, keep price reasonable, try to get alumni back every year. We made 7K from that about 3K from ticket sales and 4K from silent auction items.

Right Here For Now
Some of the simpler things that are quite profitable are making and selling subs, Little Ceasars pizza kits, selling cookie dough and having a block pool for a rival game such as Steelers vs Browns. 12 sets of parents can be responsible for selling 25 blocks apiece for a total of 3 block pools. Each block is $5 and pay out $50 per Qtr and $100 for the final. Quick and easy $750 for very little effort.

Our league bought a T-shirt heat press and we make the uniforms for most of the rec sports in town. Doesn't take too much time and if you price $1-2 less per shirt than the regular shops you can make a killing. We paid off the press in just a few months and now it is a good profit center. We sell them at our games as well and to teams that want to come into the league if needed. No hard sell just offer and when they see the prices they jump on it.
