My daughter is in the middle of her season and her bat has come up with a slight rattle. You can barely hear it unless you are in a quiet area.
I know I should return it to easton to get her a new one. Our club's head coach told us it wouldn't be a problem to do so, but I don't want her to be without a bat (or use last years) for a few weeks. He said he'd look into "his guy" helping us out but since we didn't get it through him (only the 18u gets equipment), and she got it as a christmas gift, we would have to return through Easton.
He said the bat looks OK but some umpires may really check.
Should I wait until July when her season is over and do the warranty change then?
Should I bite the bullet and do it now?
Just wait until it gets worse? Right now, performance seems OK. Her hitting coach (same guy) didn't seem to think it was performing bad tonight.
How long will it take? Is there any way to speed it up?
