Our 1st tournament is 2/27-2/28. Last year we played the same tournament and when our girls hit the field at 8am, it was in the upper 20's. We brought propane heaters and a box of hand-warmers for the girls. It didn't really help.

Open gyms next week for HS and then we start practice on Feb. 29. This weekend I take the 12s to Indy.

DD got to sit in with the team she has been practicing with at their first tournament this weekend and has her first scrimmage games with them Wednesday. They won every game this weekend. It was a very nice change of pace for her. She was super engaged and was helping the coaches keep track of score and cheering on her teammates all weekend even though she wasn't playing.
