Colleges Scouting?

So....we're at an exposure in Cali this weekend and we're in the 14U group so I didn't expect to see too many college coaches in the stands of our games, however.... today during a couple of games I happened to notice several coaches from some pretty big DI schools in the stands. Are they really just kinda shopping at this point at 14U?

Are they really just kinda shopping at this point at 14U?

Sounds like they are looking for players to keep an eye on. I’m assuming most are HS freshmen so technically, they are now prospective athletes to colleges. The colleges can’t talk to them, but they can definitely add them to their radar.

Got it....yeah they were watching one we went up against on Saturday. She was good.

I bet they are not "shopping", but were there to watch specific players who contacted them and told them their schedule.
