Let me start by saying that I believe, the umpires at these tournaments are the only ones getting paid to be there. So they should do the very best job they can. With that said, I have never seen an umpire in a tournament eject a coach for one instance of yelling from the stands or dug out on a close call. There has to be something else involved. He either heard inappropriate language or a coach has been riding him all game. I guess this ump could have had a short fuse, but would think there would be a history of that with the TD. One phone call should clear it up. If that is the case, he needs to find something else to do on his weekends.
