Bullpen phone was off the hook, FUNNY!

feel bad for francoeur. it was funny at first, but 48 pitches was way too many!

Utley was visibly upset that they were leaving him in that long. He dragged out an infield conference forever talking to McClure about it.

Funny ... reminds me of a story from about 16-18 years ago involving my oldest son. He and 2 of his friends were at an Indians game, and one of his friends had somehow gotten the phone number of the opponent's bullpen. They were at a game and they waited until the opponent's starting pitcher started to struggle a little, and they called the bullpen number. The bullpen coach picked it up and my son's one friend said "get Smith (can't remember now who it was but it was a relief pitcher for the team) up". They said the line went silent for a minute, and the bullpen coach said "Who is this?". My son's friend replied "Coach". After another brief silence, the bullpen coach asked again "Who is it?", and after the second "Coach" reply, there was a long stream of obscenities. Smith never did come in that game and the next game the boys tried it, it was no longer a working number.
