Any Verballed teams out there?

How many of you have seen teams consisting of all verballed players that don't play in showcases in the fall, but do compete in National qualifiers and national events in spring and summer?

I know several teams who "dial back" their showcase schedule when the majority of their girls are verballed, but most of them still play some showcases. My DD is going to Scenic City this weekend, and her future college coaches will be there. It will be the first time they have seen her pitch to live batters since the IDT tournament July, 2014.

I see it all the time-every girl who is committed needs to play and stay sharp. Qualifiers give them something to play for

I'm not aware of any shutting down for the fall. Some will cut back on traveling and/or bring uncommitted girls up to showcase. There is usually a fair amount of turnover on these teams each year due to girls graduating, so the fall is important in preparing the team before they shut down for HS season.
