active ankle and rocket soc

Has anyone used Active Ankle supports or Rocket Soc ? One of the Active ankle items comes with metal stays for extra support .

If you are talking about the "T2" brace with the metal sides...they are about impossible to play softball in because of the sliding. They are fantastic for volleyball though. We use mueller sports medicine - soccer ankle brace Tie up braces are a pain in the butt but you can tighten them or loosen them up as much as you want for support. This brace seems to give DD the best movement and the support she needs and believe me, we have tried a half dozen or more after she suffered a severe ankle sprain. She catches and plays 3rd with no issues with them on. Good luck!
Forgot to mention...it also depends on how severe the ankle problem is. She needs a bit more protection then the sock type provide.
