Edy, You need to watch this.......think aunt Jamimas pancakes, without her syrup......

I/R without adduction is like the spring without the fall. There's only one thing worse, in this universe, and that's no internal rotation at all........

You understand I/R. You don't understand adduction.......yet......

BM, thanks for your comments.

That makes a lot of sense... I think I get the idea.

Weak drive...More quad muscle and less hamstring. Feel your right foots ball and toes driving out.
Premature drive foot rotation... a better forward drive will cure this. A rotated drive foot will use the small groin muscle, rather than the big quad.
The glove side should mirror the ball side once the body gets into the "T" position. Picture a birds wings in flight. They must be balanced and in sync with each other to maximize their efficiency.
Body rotation through delivery.... you can't shoot an arrow accurately or hard with a weak bow. Imagine your upper body as the bow and your arms are the string. Stay firm and still so that the two halves of the string (arms) are pulling strong and even onto the bow.
Your heel striking looks to be a result of the weak drive, your left leg isn't doing much. Kick it outward harder. This kick will help pull you off the rubber as well as opening your hips. This will rotate your hip socket internally and you'll land on your toe/ball first. This will soften the landing and save the jolt into your lower back.

CJ,

Now I'm getting things clearer in mind...
Your explanation made it really easy for me to understand.

Thanks a lot

I'd like to thank everybody who commented and suggested.
I feel I have a lot of homework to do :)

I'll take one step at a time to avoid messing the whole motion but I believe every suggestion here is a great contribution.

I'll keep you guys posted about my progress

Thanks a lot and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Back on the dirt...
This is a great discussion! Edy, thanks for having the nerve to post video of yourself and to ask for help. Takes a lot of softballs to do that on this forum! ;)

Also, thanks to those providing input. Looking forward to future updates.

I think parents and some coaches "over coach" as to building speed. (I'm not saying coaching is not necessary. On the contrary, good coaching is essential for the development of a "good" pitcher.)

The pitcher needs time to work without a coach or parent yelling in her ear saying, "Do this. Now do this...now this. You did that wrong. Try this."

BM, I just got a click in my head...

I thought the arm speed throughout the 9-3 fase was a result of the arm motion increased by the opposing force of the lower body resistance.

Then, after your comments I tried the adduction with still legs. Just standing and adducting hard...
Man, that's a beast!!!

Now I can see I was really forcing the forearm. When adducting hard I can't control anything in my hand/lower arm. I can really feel the acceleration

Now I just have to time it to the rest of the motion along with other 135 adjustments I still have to do... :D
Easy like Aunt Jamimas pancakes.. ;)

Thanks again

4GD,

Posting my own video was a small risk compared to tons of good advices I received. (but I confess I was a little nervous at the beginning...)
Besides, my little girl is starting to have some interest on pitching and I feel I need to give her some good examples as we don't have any coach in the area. At the end of the day, as a father we do everything we need to help our kids. If in the process I can learn how to pitch, yeah, why not!!?

This is the second of three clips without warm up. I'd like to try this again after some warm up, focus and intensity. Gun said 51-52 for the three.

Ken,

I don't have much to add, but I really like your mechanics.
It looks very fluid and natural. The timing seems fine to me.

My guess is that after warming up and making it more intense the speed will increase a lot.

Again, thanks for sharing your time and knowledge!
