Ringor's shoes are very durable, my DD has the indoor shoes - which she likes. However, she found the molded cleats to be too "heavy" (for lack of a better word), we even got the ones that had non-leather uppers. So, we tried a number of different types of molded cleats til we found a pair that she liked. I applied "tough toe" and voila, instant indestructible cleats; without tough toe, half-life of cleats was about 3 weeks, with tough toe, cleats went the full season.

Found the same here. DD loved the Ringor turf shoes, but hated the cleats. We're back to the $25 Under Armour molded cleats that she likes. Waste of $90. Toe drag on dirt doesn't seem to put the same wear and tear on the inside of the drag toe as artificial surfaces do, so she's never had any issues with wearing out a cleat on dirt. Usually we throw them because of size or even worse...smell!

My DD has pitched in Mizuno cleats the past 3 seasons but I'm tired of putting tuff toe on them.I just purchased 2 pairs of TANEL 360 cleats with the pitching toe for her.Reason I went with these are I heard that some girls say the Ringors with the pitching toe feel heavy. When her Tanels came in I compared them with her Mizunos and noticed they were quite a bit lighter than her Mizunos with tuff toe.She has been wearing TANEL turf shoes all winter for gym training and absolutely loves them, says they feel like she has nothing on her feet.View attachment 5536View attachment 5537

12U and 10U DD Pitchers both just got Tanels. Most comfortable shoes they've ever had. Has pitchers toe also. One has sesamoiditis and one has Sever's, the Tanels are making a big difference and the prices aren't ridiculous.

My dd is 13 and at 5'11" tall 170lbs puts her cleats through a workout so they need to be durable.Last year after games she said the bottom of her feet hurt after pitching in her Mizunos. We did a ton of research on cleats and figured that for comfort and durability Tanel would be the way to go and so far we believe we made the right choice in choosing.

Checked out the Tanel website for steel cleats. That is odd to have what appears to be plastic cleats mixed in the steel spike pattern.
Anyone have experience with the steel cleats with pitching toe?

DD loves her Ringors. She likes the mesh top version, but they have stopped making them. DD is ok with the full leather in a turf shoe, but doesn't care too much for the full leather cleat? Girls !

Thanks for all the great responses. I looked at the Tanel website and see they have molded cleats with pitching toe but did not see steel spikes with the toe. Also does Mizuno have steel with toe or is it an add on I will have to do. I have never had good luck with adding the protective toe thing.

Our Mizuno rep showed us the 9 spike steel at practice that had the "drag guard" toe.

Ringor Metal cleats are not nearly as heavy as they were in years past.
Their customer service is exceptional which tells a lot about a company
in this day and age.
