For what it is worth..... I checked the calibration of my classic pocket radar against tuning forks used to test police radars. The pocket radar was right on with the speed of the forks.....
I have a profesional photographer who is tasking the pictures and designing the banner, I just need a good printer. Locals prices are so across the board it is ridicules....
I'm looking to get a 4x10 team picture banner printed that would hang outside the dugout during games. Anyone have a good experience with an online printing company? There are so many companies it feels like I'm just rolling the dice when trying to decide on one.
What is the best program to create the number or color play system? Sorry for the questions, I've never seen an actual card, only heard and seen other teams using them against us.
I am looking to start using wristbands with DD's 14U team. Where is the best place to get the cards set up and which are the best wristbands to hold the cards?
Just made the move from a talented team where DD was lucky to throw a couple innings per tournament to a less talented team where she is now the #1 pitcher. We learned the lesson that no matter how good DD was, she would never get fair time over coaches daughter. This is 12 going up to 14u...
I am lucky enough to have a former MLB player teach hitting to my son and daughter. He uses a ton of side toss. The angle the ball comes into the zone makes no difference if the hitter has good balance and control of their head position.
I have an original model. I tested the accuracy using certified tuning forks used to verify a radar's accuracy. My unit was right on with the speeds on the forks matching what the radar was showing.
Playing 12U U trip. Pitcher off the rubber, adjusts her mask with throwing hand, steps on the rubber and pitches. Ump calls illegal pitch. No explination from ump and coach doesn't question due to final minute of drop dead time. Pitcher not knowing, adjusts mask again. Illegal pitch called...
Good example of why you should always have a broke in glove in reserve. I know it might be expensive to buy two gloves, but with most quick break in methods you are reducing the glove life and end up spending the same amount, just buying new gloves sooner.
DD is 12. When she plays 14U and wears metal cleats, seems she can't get through a whioe tournament before she is hurting. Don't have that problem when she wears molded cleats
In the never ending quest for DD to have the perfect swing or flawless pitching mechanics, I've come to terms with myself and accepted the fact that this will never happen. Something will be off on most repetitions. My resolution next year is to not "demand" perfection. DD will be much...
Lucky to belong to softball and baseball organizations that are very well sponsored. One weekend family get away would equal the yearly fees I pay. Equipment costs equal out as I would spend that money on whatever hobby toys I was doing instead of equipping my ball players. I don't count the...
Just read the descriptions for the products and on the contact us link. Anytime the English is that bad, that is a huge red flag you should not ignore..........pretty sure you would be out the money and never see the product.
Home team up to bat, behind in the score. They are at the bottom of their line up with only two minutes left on the clock. Coach told girl to put her foot on the plate and swing at the pitch regardless of its location. He was trying to get his girls out fast so they would start a new inning...
12 year old DD has been pitching for two years now with I/R. Has great rotation and speed. Rarely throws a wild pitch, but struggles with the fine adjustment when high or low out of the zone. She does not consistently brush her hip and thus struggles with having that trigger to help her know...
Daughter over rotates when she swings. Has good power but most hits end up in left field and struggles with any power of the outside pitch. Heard when the swing is finished, the hitter should be able to look down the back elbow and be pointing at the point of contact with the ball. Currently...
