My DD usually plays third when not pitching. Her secondary training is in her hitting though. I think she would actually rather be looked at for her bat.

You should always be able to find a camp or clinic that can improve her in some way. The different styles and methods are good to get exposure to and determine what works for her. The larger Finch type clinics are more about the celebrity but you can still pick up some good pointers. The last...
I totally agree with the QUALITY practice minutes. You can spend hours everyday just throwing the ball....it's the time spent perfecting the correct muscle memory that counts. That doesn't take hours per day. It also keeps them loving the FUN of the game.
